Marketing Specialist

MetaCoastal, a shared services company, is looking for an innovative, detailed oriented Marketing Specialist with exceptional writing and editing skills to join their marketing team. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing concepts that define the client’s image and impact revenue.  The position assists the leadership and clients in the strategic planning of the vision - seeing the big picture, while expertly managing the details of projects, marketing campaigns, vendors and social media.  Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will provide information and insights regarding targeted customer behavior, marketplace trends, and campaign efficiency to drive overall brand clarity and increase revenue.

 

Position Goals and Responsibilities:

  • This position contributes to the growth of  clients through strategic planning and execution of all marketing and branding initiatives:
    • Establish marketing goals, planning and managing the production schedule on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
    • Develop and execute campaigns that engage and produce the best brand experience that are aligned with established goals and objectives
    • Assist client in the development of time-sensitive promotions to drive business and selecting the appropriate driving vehicle
    • Maintain marketing calendars; communicate updates

 

  • Execute online platform and digital media management and tracking including but not limited to:
    • Digital marketing
    • Email campaigns
    • Social Media
    • Digital newsletter/blogs
    • Internal and external communications
    • Websites
    • Google Analytics
    • Create monthly (weekly as requested) reporting on site performances

 

  • Work with partners to promote the client’s mission:
    • Identify new methods for client to establish its brand within its various locations and surrounding areas to include, but not limited to the following:
      • Local events
      • Collaborating with outside brands /third party partnerships

 

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position all candidates must have the following:

  • BS/BA Marketing, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or Public Relations, required
  • A minimum of 2 years of Marketing and/or Brand Management experience
  • Experience in digital marketing and email marketing
  • Ability to effectively multi-task while meeting critical deadlines and goals
  • Excellent communications skills including written, oral and inter-personal
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
  • Ability to think analytically and evaluate marketing effectiveness using online and offline metrics
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and vendors
  • Market research experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
